2005 Peugeot 206 clock display vs temperature display

Car: Peugeot 206
Year: 2005
Variant: Sport - 1.4
Hi,
My car shows the temperature on the display screen. I need to press a button to see the time. The clock only stays for about 30 seconds, then goes back to the outside temperature mode.
Before using bus lanes, etc - i need to constantly press the button for the time - which can be distracting.

Any advise on how to keep it to time mode?

The temperature is always displayed if the temperature is between 3 and -3 degrees celcius -

I think it's the cars way of alerting you to icy conditions outside but why it stops at -3 I don't know

I've searched for a way to turn this off but no luck!
