2002 Peugeot 206 overheating

When the temperature of my car goes up to 90 degrees or higher while waiting due to traffic, I can hear some vibrating sound. And when I drive the car for a while again, and the temperature does come down and the vibrating sound is gone. Also, I do notice that the temperature goes up more quickly then before. Is there anything to worry about?

the vibrating/noise you can hear is probably the cooling fan at the front of the car
