2003 Peugeot 206 creak & squeak from o/s rear

My car has suddenly developed a very loud creak and squeak from the offside rear, I am so hoping it's not the suspension as I really cannot afford to get this fixed until October :-(

on the 206 there is only 4 mounting bushes and 2 shock absorbers so it not that expensive to repair but could even be the wheel bearing or even the brakes so i would take the car to the garage just to have more of a idea of what the problem is and then you can get quotes for the job to be done
