2004 Peugeot 206 engine turns but refuse to start

my car normally starts well in the morning, but after driving and parking the car to get something for a while, the car will refuse to start though the engine turns as if to start.however after some hour the car starts. pls what is wrong? as am writing this the car problem is on had to leave it where it parked me. another problem is when the headlight comes on, the horn and trafficator refuse to work but may come after some delay. pls help me

is the starting problem only pressent whe nthe engine is warm? if this is the case then i would be inclined to check the coolant temperature sensor. this could cause the wrong amount of fuel to be injected into the cylinders

Yes, this only happens when it is warm. Once the engine is switched off it may take longer while to come on. Once it even went off on while driving and never came back on till after a long while. Would there be any other reason the car would behave like that?
