2004 Peugeot 206 airbag faults

when i turn on the ignition it flashes up saying 'passenger airbag deactivated' and then 'airbag fault' it doesnt do this everytime.
also when i turn on ignition the doors lock!! been doing this for approx 5 months now!! normally happens in the morning but sometimes later on in the day!

would be advisable to get a garage to wire it up to their diagnostic machine and see if a fault code shows up
