1999 Mitsubishi L200 poor starting

last week she wouldn't start, turned the engine over plenty of life in the battery it fired a couple of times then when she did start white smoke came out then loads of blue then runs clear, once warmed up starts first time like she always used to, can anyone help, Thx

hi white smoke usual means the head gasket is going blue smoke means its burning oil. wen was car last serviced. any fault codes showing up ?

remove and inspect the glow plugs if you have a battery booster pack put the negative to the body of the glow plug and the positive to the threaded tip of the glow plug if the glow plugs are healthy enough they will glow with in seconds average time for glow is about 5 seconds if they dont glow they will want replacing with new one average cost per glow plug is about 15 pounds each only use bosch ones if you can as others dont last very long
