2006 Mitsubishi Colt wing mirror plate got detached and fell down and cracked, need assembly instructions for replacement

Car: Mitsubishi Colt
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.3 Petrol

I found the left wing mirror plate down on the road and in cracked state. Can I request some help with assembly instructions. There is no visible damage to the left mirror housing, however I am not sure if some part has dropped off. Would it be a case of getting a new backing plate with mirror and inserting it back ? Any help would be appreciated.
