revs go up and down at idle 3000rpm!also vacum in petrol tank

i suspect you have an air leak on the inlet manifold.. if not then check the idle air control valve on the front righthand side of the inletand remove and clean the throttle body.if you really unlucky then it may need a new throttle potentiometer. the little box on the side of the trottle body with i think 3 or 5 pin plug.
