2002 MG ZR running too rich/flooding

Car: MG ZR
Year: 2002
Variant: 1.8 120
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Car starts and runs but seems to be running too rich and "hunts" I have replaced the cam sensor as a code reader said this was faulty but did not fix the problem. There is no warning light on dash. All spark plugs are sooted up. Any help would be appreciated

Check the coolant temp sensor, as this tells the ECU how much fuel to supply to the engine. Clean or replace the plugs as necessary. Also you could clean the throttle body. Should all help to solve your problem...
