I actually liked this car, comfortable, easy to get in and out.
Have really enjoyed owning it until:
Saturday 24.11.2023.
4000 miles on the clock. Complete system failure. Would not start. When is did eventually choose to start, would not go into gear, neither forwards or reverse. Display flashing a whole host of errors brighter than the Blackpool illuminations.
RAC diagnostics cleared some faults, the car then started so acting on advice from RAC limped to the dealer. Received a courtesy car from MG assist for 4 days followed by a courtesy car from the dealer. Patience is wearing thin, as no update (yet) Considering options of returning to a Hyundai.

Car returned this afternoon. Apparently there is a recall from MG. UK. Updated software to be installed. I have been unlucky I suppose. Software failed before it could be updated. Will now probably receive a letter from MG inviting me! lol.
So far car runs and the automatic changes gear noticeably smoother. The proof of the pudding is in the driving. We shall see.
