2017 Mercedes Benz C Class error engine lamp lights up, diagnostics point to clutch overheating - c200 204k bensin

We have a C200 (204K) bensin, manual, 116000 km for about 2 years now. We have driven it mostly long distance as family car on occasion. In the past two months twice the engine lamp went on. The first time hte diagnostics showed overheated clutch. We decided to erase the error an see it is appears again and then start investigating. Does anyone have experiense with that error? Could it be only an indicator fault or it might be more serious?

Really hard to say , may have been a one off . I would wait and see if it recurs before getting too involved and then decide on what action needed if so
