2010 Mercedes Benz B Class no crank no dash lights

car drove perfect until I need to return home. key fob in facia no dash lights and no crank.
when I disconnect neg battery terminal and refit Imget full dials lit up and many of the cars fixtures like heater,radio etc.but still no crank , If i with draw fob and retry all light are gone off again until I undo the battery clamp again and get full dash lights and same procedure with no crank

Checked battery voltage and tried a jump start .?If an auto , try moving gear selector

I have a battery emergency pack for the use perhaps in bad weather and flat battery.I tried that on but it made no difference. The battery in the car was offering 12.4 volt on my volt meter. My car is manual gear shift.Checked battery voltage and tried a jump start .?If an auto , try moving gear selector

Not sure if this covers your car , could it be the starter relay or a related fuse ?
