1998 Vauxhall Vectra dash board all dead no ingnition lights untill rev engine then alternator light comes on tested aleternator and battery and all good but still no dash display and electric windows only work no and then

car starts fine but when turn the key i have no warning lights untill i start the car then alternator light comes on and engine mangement light very dim no rev count speedo fuel temp gauge electric windows tested alt and battery all fine i been told could be a dash borad problem

Could be a bad earth.
Check all earths from battery to the chassis and engine first.
