Coming trough alternator....

Is it not the vacuum pump that is fitted to the rear of the alternator that the leak is coming from ?

Yes and it's loading oil to the inside of the alternator and that propelled out oil to the bonnet underside.

Could be the hose / pipe or copper gaskets / seals ?

Well it must be the inside seal gone walkabout. Pipes are intact and solid all around.
Also dropped to 10.8 volt recharge immediately. Battery is caput.
