Check with voltmeter and see what voltage it's putting out ?

14.5 volts . About 0.4 volts less than the faulty one it replaced. It's AEG and bought/fitted as compatible, hope it's not yet another expensive mistake?

Alternator voltage is fine at 14.5 but charging at that rate can sometimes be indicative of car battery being low and alternator working overtime to build up battery . Might be worth getting your battery tested . I dont have a fuse schematic for your year , but on the earlier one I do have , there are a few fuses . relays relating to the alternator . There are at least 2 Over Voltage Protection Relays . Check your owners manual and see if you have them also
