Ford Galaxy Brake Light Switch Problems

when i start the car glow plug light comes on ,on inition and goes out when it turns over as it should. But within 10 seconds of running , the glow light flashes on and off steadily all the time. any help appreciated?

when I start the engine it stays on only when it's on P, N OR R but when I select D to move on the engine cuts off and it just dies completely, on the dash board the lights that looks like a rolled up wire starts flshing. any suggestion...
