2012 Citroen DS3 service indication is on, dispaly engine fault start stop function not working

Car: Citroen DS3
Year: 2012
Variant: Style 1.6 e hdi

I bought this car as used car from a dealer done 96000 miles. Dashboard light SERVICE indication ON always. Eco mode is not working. Can you pls help me out to fix the problem. I hope it may be DPF issue. Pls advice if any of you experienced the same problem before.

Main cause of stop / start not operating is usually caused by low car battery .

Battery is in good condition I have checked the voltage 12.7 V.

Check he battery earth return cable at gearbox mounting. If not that , needs scanned for fault codes
