2011 Citroen C4 car won't start

After sw on and trying to start only got a single click repeated several times just got clicks.
Tried jump leads no joy, then towed backwards in reverse and car started immediately once started switched off and started ok three times left for few minutes tried again and just kept clicking. Tried again next day same problem but this time as there was space in front managed to push forward few yards and let the clutch out in 1 st gear and started ok and did so for 3 more key starts, left for 10 mins and would not start. Think it must be electrical so have booked it in for diagnostic check on 24/7/2023. So will let you know the outcome.

Probably just a dud battery , check voltage

Thanks, I did check voltage before trying to start with jump leads showed 13.6 V but after failing to start it had dropped to 11.6 V so then towed and started ok but on trying with starter
It fired up ok and again a few mins later but after about 10 min failed to start - other funny things happen when it fails to start the wipers switch themselves on the brake lights flicker and the petrol cap would sometimes open itself so feel there is some electronic fault. Tried again this morning but no success same effects, will see if I can get a new battery fitted today or tomorrow if all fails will take it to local car electrical works.

Battery should not show 13.6 V at rest , before starting
