If scanned with correct diagnostic equipment it should show fault code which any competent mechanic would be able to understand . It could be something simple like a transmission safety neutral switch which prevents you starting the car in gear . You could try moving the gear selector whilst trying to start the car . If that fails you will need it scanned . If you have any auto gearbox specialist in your area they might be able to diagnose quicker and possibly cheaper . There are also quite a few fuses in different locations covering the auto transmission you might want to check first 2007 Dashboard Fuse box 1 Instrument panel fuse box #1 diagram: Citroen C4 Picasso I (2007) Assignment of the fuses in the Dashboard Fuse box 1 (2007) Reference Rating Functions F1 15A Rear screen wipe F2 30A Locking and unlocking earth F3 5A Airbag F4 10A Multimedia, photochromic rear view mirror, particle flter, diagnostic socket, air conditioning, headlamp height correction control F5 30A Front windows, front door electronics, panoramic glass roof F6 30A Rear windows F7 5A Interior lamps, refrigerated glovebox, radio F8 20A Multifunction display, radio, CD changer, steering wheel controls, multimedia, deflation detection, alarm, trailer F9 30A Cigar lighter, multimedia, front 12V socket, torch, radio F10 15A Height corrector (suspension) F11 15A Brake switch, ignition switch F12 15A Parking assistance, automatic screen wipe and lighting, passenger’s electric seat, AFIL, Hi-Fi amplifier, trailer F13 5A Engine relay unit, driver’s electric seat F14 15A Air conditioning, Bluetooth® hands-free kit, automatic gearbox selector, airbag, instrument panel F15 30A Locking and unlocking F16 SHUNT F17 40A Heated rear screen Dashboard Fuse box 2 Instrument panel fuse box #2 diagram: Citroen C4 Picasso I (2007) Assignment of the fuses in the Dashboard Fuse box 2 (2007) Reference Rating Functions F29 20A Heated seats F30 Free F31 Free F32 Free F33 5A Parking assistance, automatic screen wipe and lighting, passenger’s electric seat, AFIL, Hi-Fi amplifier F34 5A Trailer F35 Free F36 20A Hi-Fi amplifier F37 10A Air conditioning, light pack F38 30A Driver’s electric seat F39 5A Fuel flap F40 30A Passenger’s electric seat, panoramic roof Advertisements Engine compartment Citroen C4 Picasso I (2007) Assignment of the fuses in the Engine compartment (2007) Reference Rating Functions F1 20A Engine management F2 15A Horn F3 10A Screen wash pump F4 20A Headlamp wash pump F5 15A Engine components F6 10A Xenon dual-function directional headlamps, headlamp height correction motor, clutch switch, BCP (protection switch box) F7 10A Automatic gearbox, engine coolant level switch, power steering F8 25A Starter motor F9 10A Stoplamp switch F10 30A Engine components F11 40A Rear blower F12 30A Screen wipe F13 40A BSI (Built-in Systems Interface) F14 30A Air pump, heat exchange saver F15 10A Right-hand main beam F16 10A Left-hand main beam F17 15A Left-hand dipped beam F18 15A Right-hand dipped beam Fuses on the battery Fuses on the battery: Citroen C4 Picasso I (2007) Reference Rating Functions F1 Battery Plus connection studs F2 Supply connection studs, BSM (engine relay unit) F3 F4 5A Automatic gearbox actuator and ECU F5 15A Diagnostic socket F6 15A ECU for 6-speed electronic gearbox / automatic gearbox F7 5A ESP ECU F8 20A Rear 12V socket
