Check and verify oil level o.k , It could be something simple as a faulty oil pressure sender unit or something really major . But cant be ignored and unsafe to drive until cause identified and rectified .

Hi. Thanks for the response. I have now been told from.the garage that i need a new engine. Something to do with filters in the engine or something. Same issue as a peugot engine. The car is undriveable and is being towed to the citreon dealers for action. The car is 2018. Only done 24k miles. Any advice
