Warning stop. Goes into limp mode, checked fault code, fitted new oil switch, comes up engine fault after 1 mile

Check wiring at switch . If not that , try changing oil and filter . If still coming on after that , check actual oil pressure with a master gauge to verify whether it is due to engine wear or not .

Could also be indicative of a failing / partially blocked oil pump .
