2019 Citroen Berlingo from inside the back of the berlingo van it is impossible to unlock the back and side door. the only escape route is the tiny panel behind the passengers seat.

I was trapped in the back of my Berlingo Van on a hot day. The only escape route was through the panel behind the passenger’s seat. The side door doesn’t have a handle and the back door handle doesn’t work with both doors closed. Has my Berlingo been installed incorrectly or is this a design fault? A large person might not be able to squeeze through that panel and I found the experience very scary.

Call in to a Citroen dealership and ask nicely and they will probably let you check another van or advise you .
