when i go over speed bumps there is a slight twanging sound its really annoying. coming from front

Sounds like it could be front coil springs , worth a look .See if any broken coils or not correctly seated .

I had a volvo V40 2 years ago and thats the norm it will be the front coil springs i went to euro car parts and used a mates clamps and done it myself easy to do. Was quoted alot to do the same job from a dealer for half days labour i never done one before took me 2 hours so i went and done the other side too cost me 80 pound for 2 brand new springs. Treble that from a garage or dealer.
