hello, my car wont start unless i use jump leads, the battery is fully charged. when I turn the key there is a clicking from the engine. I think its the starter motor. How do i go about geting it recond without going to volvo because the want £45 an hour just to look.

if your battery is fully charged then there is no need to use jump leads. the clicking sound happens when the battery is dead, it could be a faulty alternator or the alternator belt could have come of or snapped, if i am right then when you have it running the battery warning indicator should appear on the dash display. if it was the starter motor thats broke then it wouldnt start at all.
kind regards jamie
