Clicking noise only when starting

on starting the car up every time i get a clicking noise from seems like under the passenger dash,it clicks for about 15 seconds then stops,the car is a petrol, starts and runs ok.i was about to buy this car from a neighbour until i heard this clicking,any ideas please before i buy or not would be greatly appreciated...thanks

Sounds like a relay, in which case its nothing to worry about. If you are in doubt, a dealer would be able to confirm what the noise is and how expensive it sounds!
