on starting up the car i have a clicking noise from the passenger side dash area it clicks for about 30 seconds then stops,any ideas?

Glow plug relay maybe

hi phil,thanks for your speedy reply,but the car is petrol does it still have glow plugs?

Ok, you won't have glow plugs then. Sorry
But it sounds like some sort of relay which is causing the noise, remove the fuse box cover and check to see what it actually is when you switch on.
