2001 Volvo S40 cuts out when warm

the car starts,runs,and drives as normal until it reaches normal temp then it starts to surge and stall usually when it is about to pull up to a stop.normal driveing it is fine.

The idle air control valve is a common problem on these cars . Or could be throttle body needing cleaned / replaced . Could also check vacuum pipes for any leaks .
