hi team
the overdrive on my car's not working at all. i've checked associated fuse, found ok. the activation light on the dash not working either. has anyone got any ideas. regards dj dave.

have a garage check it out with there diagnostics equipement and then you will have more of a idea of whats wrong and how much to replace the item that is at fault

i'm an ex mechanic with several years exp under my belt, mainly on the older cars,but there's not a lot that beats me even now so i will be trying to help other members with thier problems.
having given you an insight of my capabilities,& letting you know i understand cars, please could you give me a few pointers as what is the other best checks/tests to cure my overdrive problem.
