1995 Volvo 940 rear abs fault

brake pedal banging sometimes when applying foot brake. could this be related to the abs if so how do i fix it

i suspect that one of the ABS sensor pick-up rings and/or sensors are defective. this would need to be investigated by a reputable garage with ABS diagnosis equipment. but just in case, first check the contacts on the brake lamp switch!!! i have had them give trouble in this department. Hope this helps!!!
