1996 Volvo 850 engine cuts out

Engine starts from cold with no problems. After running a few miles it misfires and cuts out. After a few minutes wait it restarts and then runs perfectly for the rest of the day even after several stops. The time taken to restart the engine after cut out, does seem to be getting longer.

check your fuel pump relay black boxy thing in your fuse box. Got a replacement for my 740 off ebay 5 quid within two days. Dealer wanted 35 quid and at least a week to get it. Easy peasy job.
