Volkswagen Sharan i put £50 of diesel in my sharan and the milometer dropped from 355 miles to 100 miles

The milometer dropped from 355 to 100 miles, no fuel leak. I’m about to do a long journey , so worrying . The radio is flicking between channel screen and settings without touching it, the digital screen keeps swapping about. Have been to garage for reset, but still doing it

Sometimes a low car battery can cause problems like this , especially if car not used much and / or for short journeys
