Engine starts but then cuts out immediatly ,fuel getting through ok and cannot find any loose connections,was fine before.

Check the ECT sensor. ( Engine coolant temperature sensor.)
Not the one that works the temp gauge - this one sends signals to the Ecu - which controls the ignition and fueling system .Could also pull plugs and check / replace if needed .

I have since discovered that if I removed wash/wipe relay (no4 relay)then engine runs fine,but wipers and heater blower don't work,if I replace relay (with engine running)then wipers heater and engine all work fine???Going mad now.
