2004 Vauxhall Zafira knocking noise coming from right hand side under bonnet

Could be a stone or other foreign body stuck in the tread of the tyre..

Hi, I don't have an answer for you but was wondering if you resolved the issue my car has developed the same thing, albeit it only happens when I go above 60mph.

hello,i had the same problem,get to 50mph rattling from the back end,time and time again i stopped to take a look,very anoying,took the wheel off ect,couldnt find nothing, came to put the wheel back on,just before i let the jack down i gave it a spin,to slightly hear the tapping,turns out i had a nail whaats pushed straight through my tyre wich was layed in side my tyre annd rim..so when i drove slowly couldnt her it,but when i drove faster spiining the wheel caused the nail to bounce around like a washing machine but yet i didnt have no puncher?..wierd i know but had the tyre took off and a quick check for a puncher,no puncher but a nice 5 inch nail..now perfect..hope this is only your problem..
