Loosing oil but no leaks

2001 Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 petrol

im always topping up my oil, as when i start up it ticks loads then shuts up, i put oil in then its ok but how is it loosing oil as theres no leaks etc...
what could be the problem?

this sounds like a headgasket problem, check the coolant tank for traces of oil, if there is any oil in there then you'll need a new head gaskit

yes checked the water botle but no oil? puzzled.......

any smoke out of exhaust blue for instance if so itcould be burning oil need to get valve stem oil seals done and pistons checked for wear costly yes but could cost you more if your engine seizes

should these VAUXHALL OPEL OMEGA VECTRA 16v 2.0 ecotech VALVE STEM OIL SEALS be the same, and are they easy enough to fit?
