Unusaul singing noise coming from engine!

Have a problem with a zafira. Unusaul singing noise coming from engine bay area when started up. Noise continues few seconds after switching off. Anyways after some investigating found that when I lifted the dip stick the noise stopped but found that air being sucked down the dipstick tube at a massive rate. Then checked the throttle body and found it was practically closed!! No air flow! Anyone got any ideas? Thinking throttle body or perhaps airflow meter?

i have a 2008 1.6 zafira and i also am having the same fault.. i believe it is a vacuum pipe but when i have it repaired i will post it for you
