2002 Vauxhall Zafira missfire - engine warning light

ok bit of a long winded one but her goes,
problem started about a month after having the head done. we then got a missfire and car ran very badly under load,
had the plugs and coil pack changed.
then went on a 600 mile trip working fine, worked after that for about 6 weeks, then the same happened.
code showing a cileder 2 missfire, so
swoped ingecters but still showing mis fire on 2 .
car then went on a trip up the motorway in an attemp to get a wiring loom ( next idea!) and on the way it cleared up.
has run fine again now for the past week but today we are aback to square one.
car runs fine for about a mile after the code is cleared.
fuel kept above half a tank so not fuel related.
any ideas please?????

forgot to put engine warning light comes on , flashes on acceleration. when codes rest light goes out and car runs fine about a mile .
really at the end of it now, so any help is greatfuly received.

Could check the connector terminals in the coilpack plug .

check belt timing and condition of cam sensor and wiring
