2001 Vauxhall Zafira engine cutting out

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2001
Variant: 1.6 club
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My Zafira starts fine but after a while the engine just cuts out and won,t restart for an hour or 2. I thought it was overheating due to a faulty thermostat, so i removed it.
Started up ok but then it cut out again when it got warm. Am i looking in the wrong place.

Could be crankshaft sensor , engine coolant temp sensor etc . Best to get a scan and see what shows .

try cleaning out the trottle body and the small beather at the back of the trottle body that goes to the rocker cover as this blocks up and can couse cutting out. ps if it is blocked you will need a very small drill bit to clean it out
