2004 Vauxhall Zafira car will start and run fine switch engine off and then wont start not even on easy start

A few suggestions to check out .




The zafira A 2.0 dti engines are known for the Diesel injection pump failures The pump is mounted internally and is driven by the cam chain. A new Pump costs £800. This can suddenly fail or fail over time which the common symptoms are poor starting winding over or starts when facing down hill.

The common cause on the Zafira dti engines are leak off pipes to the injectors they perish causing air to leak into the fuel system causing the diesel to run back to the tank.

If the leak off pipes are OK check and replace the fuel filter as the seals could have perished or the housing could be Cracked! which is caused by being over tightened!.

And

Probably the fuel cut off valve on the pump - check the connection, cleaning it and tightening the nut. The solenoid may be on the way out, but they are cheapish.

also check the injector seals are not leaking as this is quite common on that engine

i have checked injector seal`s and leak off pipe`s all ok cracked off injector plenty fuel there any more idea`s would be appreciated many thanx
