Hi I've got a 2003 2.0 DTI Vauxhall Zafira which seems to have a problem with the turbo but doesn' happen all the time. Starts fine and ticks over fine but will not rev over 3000 rpm and when driving feels like its's being held back but once in 3rd gear thens seems to run quit nice any ideas.

have you checked the fault code memory?check the inlet manifold,swirl flaps and egr valve are`nt carboned up,if they are then you will need to remove those parts and de-coke them,also check all intake pipes from intercooler to turbo are fitted securely and not split/damaged,check the vacuum pipes that run from the actuators to the turbo wastegate and to swirlflap and throttle valve as these can rub through and even break,check injector seals and leak off pipes are`nt leaking
