2007 Vauxhall Zafira grinding sound, smell of burning rubber

Seems to be a grinding or rubbing noise from front left side, have also noticed smell of burning rubber. Have tried to check it but dnt have much of a clue. Help

Checked front pads , wear / movement on that wheel ?

may be caliper seized or pads stuck in carrier.check to make sure wheel arch liner secure and not rubbing on wheel

might be a broken coil spring and rubbing on the inside of the tyre
