2006 Vauxhall Zafira blue smoke

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.9 cdti 150bhp
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
After driving about 4 miles the exhaust will start with blue smoke and mpg will go down very quickly, it does not affect the performance of my car, if I turn the engine off the smoke stops and will usually start again after I have done the exact same distance. I have had a new EGR valve fitted, also a new engine heat sensor,I have had the dpf regenerated 4 weeks ago and thought the problem was cured but it has just started smoking again. This is an intermittent fault that does not show any fault codes

hi it sounds like you are burning oil,or your valve steam oil seals are needing replaced, have you checked your oil level incase you have too much in the engine,

Thanks tony! I do check oil regular as it is prone to rising but will mention about the oil seals to my mate, will report back many thanks!
