hi, i hav a 1.6 comfort zafira,in the last 4 weeks i had fuel sensor,h20 sensor,lamba sensor(think thats hw u spell it,all changed along with a brand new cat,within 2 days my car broke down a the cat started to glow orange,i put back in garage who ordered another cat and put that in thinkin the cat was faulty,but again within hours it was back in garage,its been in there now for 2 weeks and the garage cannot find any probs as computer showin now faults but the cat still glows orange and will not drive 4 more than a mile,its still in the garage now doin nothin,any ideas so i can mention then to the garage please,so far i spent 700quid in parts and labour and car not done,

Has timing belt ever been checked / changed ? Might have slipped or jumped throwing timing out .

thanks (whittingehame)yea had timming belt changed and double checked if slipped but all fine there,,wotever is causin this problem has burnt a brand new cat out within 2 weeks,changed so many parts it vertually a new engine,but wen takin car out off garage the cat glows orange within a few miles,,again no readin is cumin up on computer,but everytime computer used my bill goesgoes up with no findins of the fault,cant let the car leave garage,

Have injectors been checked

Incorrect fuel mixture can also cause this .

goin to have new coil pack and cambelt sensor foitted tomoz so hopefully this will b the cause of my problem,another 200 quid lata so fingers crossed,
