Brake lights not working

Hi, I've just changed my o/s brake/tail bulb and now the entire brake lighting system will not work at all. I've checked the fusebox diagram which refers to No 37 as being the brake light fuse. However, there is no fuse in that slot (or conductors in the pin slots).
Am I looking in the wrong place? Has anyone had this problem before and can help me out?

As far as I can find out it is fuse box, below the steering wheel ,Fuse 37 (20 amp) according to the data I have to hand (2003 handbook )If it only started after replacing bulb , are you sure you haven't fitted the off set bulb incorrectly ? If not that , check brake light switch .
