my car is not 3 years old yet and it leaks water through the panoramic roof when it rains. I been told its not covered by the 3 year warranty because manufacturing faults should come to light within the first year of the car's life. Than why give 3 years warranty? I would have to prove its a design fault and fix it at my own expense and than pursue vauxhall once I have proof its a design fault.

Could take car into a good bodyshop / coach builder and get their opinion on fault and whether they think it is a warranty item .
