2005 Vauxhall Zafira how to trigger the alarm on my car

I was just wondering if my car has an alarm. I have never heard it. Although, I read the Vauxhall Manual and it says that i should lock it twice because the second time it would activate the Vauxhall Alarm system or so. I just want to know how i can trigger it. i have tried locking the car with the one of the doors open and that doesnt trigger the alarm. please help...

A simple check you can do is if you open bonnet and put something over alarm switch to hold it down ,then lock car and allow alarm to set .Then activate bonnet switch , alarm should operate .

all Vauxhall Zafira have alarms. to see if it works . just press the button ones to set .. the 2nd time you press that set the DEAD LOCKS to the door making it so you can't opens the doors from the inside. so just press ones let set . take about 1min then just open the door with the KEY ... should set the alarm off... if not open your window press button ones let set for 1min put your hand in open the door from the inside open the door alarm should go off.... :o) hope this HELPS...
