my spanner warning light comes on when driving constantly at 70mph,fault code P242f is stored.have been told the warning light comes on as the dpf is doing a regen,how long do i need to drive for and at what speed?

its probably coming on because it cannot regenerate due to an underlying fault.take it to a dealer who will be able to read faults and possible do a forced regen

P242F Particulate Filter Pressure Sensor Range/Performance B-031




Have just collected bus from stealers. Today they have fitted DPF sensor, said pipe was OK, however they were doing another manual regen when i went to collect it so we will wait & see. Looked on ebay & non gen DPF sensor £350! In 300 miles thats EGR valve + DPF sensor & 2 manual regensI have done 3500 miles in the bus since ownership & am thinking this needs to go when 3 year warranty ends.
