2006 Vauxhall Zafira warning light on at motorway speed

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.9 cdti 150 ps
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
the spanner warning light comes on after a few minutes/miles when at cruising speed on motorway approx 60 - 70 mph,the car loses power when the light comes on,if you turn car off then restart the light stays off and then same thing happens again, the fault does`nt happen at low speeds - ie town driving/stopping and starting, any ideas?

i had the dpf and differential boost pressure replaced a few months ago,the car was fine 2 weeks ago,i went on holiday and the car was left standing at the airport for 12 days, this is when the fault occured when i drove home down motorway, could it just be a glitch in the system?

Strange , if anything you would have thought a blast down motorway would have helped .No fault codes ? As you say , could just be a glitch , fingers crossed .

Forgot to say , does "a soft ware update needs to be done so it rege3narates if needed " in the RAC thread not apply to this fault ?

i have managed to get the fault codes read by tech 2 and it is coming up with P242f - particulate filter pressure sensor signal range/performance,i had a new dpf and differential pressure sensor fitted 2000 miles ago,on contacting vauxhall i was told that the dpf is regenerating itself when the light comes on and that i need to drive at a constant speed till the light goes off.any ideas how long i need to drive the car and at what speed?
