2004 Vauxhall Zafira car burning 3 litres of oil in 2 days through exhaust

what colour smoke is comming from the exhaust, check the oil cap for a white film, it may be your "o" ring split or worse your engine gone, seek a qualified mechanic to confirm.

if you have black smoke coming from exhaust then check your intake pipes are all ok and tight,check there are no splits or none have come off.if the engine is burning oil you will get blue smoke from the exhaust,check the engine externally for signs of an oil leak from camcover gasket,sump gasket and sump pan and check your head gasket is`nt blown check for oil in the water,also check your injector seals are not leaking oil into the fuel system,also check your turbo is`nt blown,if you are losing 3 litres of oil in such a short space of time there must be some sign of leakage,why was the fuel filter changed?was it contaminated with oil?

Fuel filter was contaminated with traces of oil, ther was also one way fuel valves placed at injectors. the smoke coming out the exhaust is black smoke. there is evidence of oil at engine but not 8 litres worth and no oil on drive.
