2001 Vauxhall Zafira loss of power,struggling to tick over, limp home mode!

Disel Zafira on Y Plate. As soon as the engine is at operating temerature, power dies! 2 warning lights Engine electronics immobilizer & Electronically controlled engine cooling. Rev needle drops to Zero and shudders at low revs, struggles to tick over. Always starts from cold and first 2/3 miles fine. My local garage don't know what it is their machine reads'No signal from ECU TO pump' PLEASE, CAN ANYONE HELP...

you don`t say what size engine it is,have the garage tried updating the software in the ecm?

2.0 No softwar up-grade. Why would it need this, is it expensive?
