Put the car into garage for heater plugs relay. When I got it back out car started for about 3 seconds then died then had to turn it over for about 2 minutes before it started. put it back into garage they put on one way flow fuel filters next to injectors. Came out worse than ever if you left it for more than an hour you could not get it restarted. Got the AA guy out and he said problem with injectors need them reconditioned took it to garage they say I need new fuel pump. Can anybody help with the solution to this problem.

hi,check that the fuel filter housing is not cracked, check there is fuel in the filter, the fuel in the filter needs to be as full as poss, even if full up vauxhall diesels are a total nightmare to start, vauxhall garages use a special electric pump connected to the supply line to draw up the fuel then deliver to pump

going by the year you have the old shape zafira which has a 2 litre dth engine.if it is then the injector seals are probably leaking, check the fuel in the leak off pipes is not contaminated with an oily residue
